The overall mentoring experience was great. I learned a lot of new things about the field of biosciences. One of which was the rise of career opportunities in the field that I'm studying in. I learned that the biosciences isn't limited to research, academia, and industry but it also expands to other roles such as patent attorney, consultancy, and writing. Now that I'm more aware of this, I'm able to explore more of my career options and opportunities.
